[DVDnav-discuss] Playing from non-UDF optical media

Heya,

I cooked up this patch to xine-lib a number of years ago:

to allow xine-lib to play back from an ISO9660 DVD, with no UDF
filesystem.

I know that this DVD isn't spec compliant, but copying this DVD onto a
hard-disk, or any other non-optical media would have it played fine.

Would such a patch, updated for the current libdvdnav, be accepted? Or
can somebody think of a different way to achieve the same goal?
