Yes, he was. It was 4.1.1 patched by me to be almost the same as 4.1.2.
I'll push 4.1.2 and ask for retest, but I'm not expecting any difference.

He says there are similar issues with vlc. I've asked him to provide
mplayer -v dvd:// output.
