The problem here is that the code comes from libdvdread, and as far as
I could see from Nico's commit, the idea was to be able to use system's
libdvdread rather than the internal copy of it.

So unless you want to fork libdvdread, the changes to the dvdread/
subdirectory should be limited as much as possible, and the changes
should be pushed upstream.
