[MPlayer-users] Xv makes xserver crush

Hi.
I have a strange problem with mplayer since i've reinstalled my whole 
debian to unstable.
It always crashes my xserver everytime I try to play any video using xv 
output. The server goes down without any clear reason, there is nothing 
unusual in logs.
Before reinstalation I was able to watch videos using xv output without 
any problem, now I can't.
I tried recompiling mplayer using different gcc versions, but it didn't 
help.
I figured out that this must be a problem with xserver. I must use 
XFree86 version 4.3* becouse I have a i740 graphic card, and any 
previous version of the server wouldn't work with full xv support. I 
tried to install different card drivers but it didn't change anything. I 
run out of ideas.
I have a Debian unstable system with 2.4.21 kernel, i740 graphic chip on 
my video adapter. I also use gcc-3.3.3.
I know that this is propably a problem with the xserver, and I wouldn't 
have posted this message if I didn't knew that everything worked fine on 
almost identical configuration.
So if anyone can tell what to do, I would be thankful.
