[MPlayer-users] -nosound on mencoder -tv

well... it doesn't work.

[chris at trevor chris]$ mencoder -nosound -tv 
on:driver=v4l:width=240:height=180 -ovc lavc -lavcopts 
vcodec=mpeg4:vbitrate=300 -o cctv.avi -ofps 1

No audio encoder (-oac) selected! Select one or use -nosound. Use -oac 
help!

well i already am! but it doesn't work.

also can the audio output turn off agin in situations like this. the audio 
is closed if mencoder exits correctly, but if it fails like it does here, 
the audio remains on.
