hi,

i have read your mail and i have the same problem.

At this moment my situation is this:

i have done lot of work to get best performance, but the cpu is very
very slow.

In my configuration i use vesa, with append="video=vesa:mtrr:ywrap" in
the lilo.conf and the mplayer command line is "mplayer -vo vesa
http://server/shrek.avi

In this case the cpu is at 90%

I have tried all possible combination but the DVD playing is slow, and
mpeg2 stream from the network is to slow.

I have tried epiafb, trident, directfb, vesa:vidix

You have found a better configuration??

Any suggestion is appreciate.

Thanks in advance and excuse me for my english speaking.
Regards.
