[MPlayer-users] xvid and Divx5 in the same mplayer?

Hi!

I am curious what options you used for lavc for the bad quality, and what
cpu do you have ?

eg. I have p4-1500, and I can encode at 25fps from tv live in imho good 
quality with
mencoder -tv on:driver=v4l:width=768:height=576:adevice=/dev/dsp -channels 1 
-ovc lavc -lavcopts 
vcodec=mpeg4:vbitrate=1200:vhq:vratetol=50000:keyint=300:aspect=4/3:vlelim=-4:vcelim=9:v4mv 
-oac pcm -vop scale=576:272,pp=tn:100:200:300,crop=736:544:16:16 -sws 5 -o 
testem2.avi
