[MPlayer-users] Ugly Subtitles on TV with H+ and Mplayer

Additionally, last time I checked, software subtitle rendering for dxr3
output worked only with -vc ffmpeg12, while the default is -vc mpeg12

Is there any reason to prefer mpeg12 over ffmpeg12 at all?
