[MPlayer-users] mencoder: turn up brightness?

Hi,

I'm trying to make a good-looking .AVI dump from one of my DVD's,
but I noticed that the DVD version is much brighter than the resulting
.AVI. 

Is there any way to turn up the brightness in the resulting .AVI with
mencoder?
